Phooey Poetry

I thought about you
the very first time we met
when you were first introduced to me
when you were not my date yet

I thought about you
ever since then
I had often wondered or actually prayed
that our paths would cross again

I thought about you
when I finally had the chance
to be the one for you and you for me
to have our own romance

I thought about you
when we exchanged our "I love you"s
when you became my world, my everything
when you were all I was afraid to lose

I thought about you
when we used to share our dreams
when we were happy just to be with each other
when nothing else mattered it seems

I thought about you
when you said you needed to leave
when you said that it was all for the best
even if I was left to grieve

I thought about you
even when you were already gone
whenever traffic was bad or the rain was heavy
I wondered if you were safe at home

I've always thought about you
but you wanted to be free
maybe it's about time
That I started to think of me.

this is really nice bro...

I felt it really came from the heart... and i agree with your decision to think about yourself from now on... you owe that to yourself..

good luck!

Nice one Ele - Got me to think that I probably should start doing the same before its too late. I share your sympathy and perhaps would follow your meaningful poem.

Thanks for sharing with me your blog site.
